FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jersey City, NJ – After nearly two years of planning, the wait is finally over. The Nail Loft has formally scheduled a ribbon cutting event to celebrate their grand opening. The event will take place 5:30pm on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at their new location – 389 Central Avenue, 2nd Floor. Nail art enthusiasts, residents, shoppers, and local businesses are invited to join the Central Avenue SID Management Corp. at the event to help welcome the latest addition to the shopping district.
Owners Melissa Mohabir and Sean Sanichar are not your ordinary entrepreneurs. The young Jersey City couple met early in life and are both alumni of Dr. Ronald McNair Academic High School and later Rutgers University. Sean has operated several successful service businesses in the area since 2011 and Melissa is a web editor for Muscle & Fitness since 2012. This is the first business they open together and they are very excited. “We love Jersey City,” says Melissa who designed the space. “This is a project that I am very passionate about as a nail art enthusiast myself. The Nail Loft delivers quality services at reasonable prices while providing customers an unforgettable experience in an upscale and luxurious setting. We are thrilled to be opening a business together in the City we call home.”
Sean owns the property at 389 Central Avenue which is home to a Bubbles 4 Laundromat on the ground floor. The building is 136 years old (built 1880) which made renovating the space a challenge at times. “It is a beautiful building given its historic architecture. We even managed to salvage what may have been the original tin ceiling on the second floor. However, there were several structural surprises as the work progressed,” said Sean. “I know a lot more about construction now than I did two years ago. We put a lot of work into building a business we are going to be proud calling our own. The space will speak for itself.”
“Once you see The Nail Loft, you will agree that it is very different compared to similar businesses in the area,” said David Diaz, District Manager for the Central Avenue SID Management Corporation. “It has been well over a decade since a new nail business opened in the district. Melissa and Sean really made an effort to distinguish The Nail Loft and they succeeded. It is great to welcome assertive entrepreneurs and approximately fifteen new jobs to the Central Avenue main street.”
The Nail Loft takes pampering, sanitation, and hygiene very seriously. During all nail services, each client receives their own set of brand-new disposable tools. After the completion of services, each client can take these tools home, if they choose to. The Nail Loft invites you to come in and see for yourself what affordable luxury feels like. You deserve it.
The Nail Loft will be officially open on Monday January 11th to welcome appointments and walk-ins alike. For a limited time, new customers will receive a 10% discount on their first visit. Parking is available at the rear of the building just off of Charles Street.
