Businesses Keep It Clean
Central Avenue stakeholders, via their SID program, are coordinating with partners to limit the spread of the coronavirus/ COVID-19. One of our partners, Commercial District Services LLC (CDS), is repeatedly disinfecting and cleaning all touch surfaces in the district since March 16th. This includes parking meters, crosswalk buttons, benches, litter receptacles, and bike racks. These services supplement the efforts by the Jersey City DPW litter patrol who continue to hand sweep public areas within the district. By increasing efforts to better sanitize the district, Central Avenue stakeholders are working together to flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19.
