Jersey City, NJ – The Central Avenue Special Improvement District is pleased to announce “Pampita Meat Shop” has opened their flagship store on the main thoroughfare of the Jersey City Heights. With a master butcher on staff, they will serve Jersey City the best quality meats, grass fed beef, and a choice of Argentine or American Cuts. Pampita Meat Shop is located at 393 Central Avenue and recently celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting joined by Mayor Steven Fulop and Argentine Ambassador Mateo Estreme to name a few of the attendees.
“We were born and raised in Argentina where we ate meat for lunch and dinner almost every day,” say Claudia Walters, part owner at Pampita Meat Shop. “Argentine beef plays a major role in the culture of Argentina and it is cut differently than American beef.”
Martin is the master butcher at the meat shop. He has more than twenty-five years of experience providing the very best in Argentine and US cuts. He will personally take care of all your needs and will be happy to advice on how to optimize every piece of meat whether you roast it or grill it.
“Pampita Meat Shop is a welcomed addition to Central Avenue,” says Sanford Fishman, CASID President and longtime pharmacist at Bond Drugs. “It has been a long time since we had a butcher shop on Central Avenue and Pampita is a modern spin on an old tradition. Residents and shoppers are making healthier eating choices and it is great to have more businesses offering items such as quality grass fed beef. The addition of Pampita is another example that Central Avenue and Jersey City are moving in the right direction.”
