Candy will be given out no later than 6 PM
Every year, trick-or-treaters from around the area look forward to a warm welcome from businesses on Central Avenue in the Jersey City Heights. This Halloween will be no exception. The Central Avenue Special Improvement District (CASID) is working on a campaign to make the holiday an even more safe and enjoyable event for the surrounding community.
Member businesses are encouraged to hand out candy no later than 6 PM on Halloween. This will promote a safe, family-friendly atmosphere by encouraging children to be off the streets before dark.
“Year after year, Central Avenue businesses have provided a safe place for children to trick-or-treat on Halloween. We invite our neighbors to join us before 6 PM on October 31 this year for the best Halloween yet,” said Michael Yun, president of the Central Avenue Special Improvement District Board of Trustees.
