Jersey City, NJ – The Central Avenue SID Management Corporation is proud to welcome “Bocelli’s Italian Deli” to the Jersey City Heights. Located at 274 Central Avenue, the new business will hold an official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00pm this Friday, May 29, 2015. Members of the media and public are encouraged to join in the celebration. Light refreshments from the deli will be served.
The people behind Bocelli’s are the well-known De Marchi brothers, Mark and Lorenzo, from Renato’s Pizza Masters and Joseph Doyle from Doyle’s Consulting. The three have teamed up to bring the New York style deli to the Central Avenue shopping district. “Bocelli’s brings a distinct neighborhood experience to the Jersey City Heights,” says Doyle. “The deli will have home cooked meals, fresh mozzarella, and many unique products imported exclusively from Italy for this location.”
Renato’s Pizza Masters has been a neighborhood favorite and staple in the community for nearly fifty six years. Mark and Lorenzo grew up in the restaurant business and are using their expertise to keep shoppers coming back for more healthy and delicious food at Bocelli’s. “The De Marchi family has proudly served the Heights for generations,” says Mark. “We are excited about serving the community in new innovative ways.”
“It is great to see new investment and good quality businesses coming to the Heights. It is a sign that the neighborhood is moving in the right direction,” says Councilman Michael Yun who also owns and operates a business on Central Avenue. “A lot of effort was put into Bocelli’s and residents will recognize that the minute they step in. They will be proud of the work Mark, Lorrenzo, and Joseph have put into the neighborhood.
