New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s 2022 Cover Search Winners Contest, which invited readers to contribute their favorite images of life in the Garden State, announced its winners in its December 2022 issue. Selected in the Architecture category as the Runner-Up Winner was Gib Westby-Gibson’s entry of the CASID wall mural, “Scaling Jersey City Heights”.
The NJ Monthly Magazine text reads: “An advertising professional, Gibson lives in Jersey City Heights, where this mural is so familiar, it’s just another neighbor hurrying home for dinner. But one day, “it was such a surprise to see this cloud formation behind the building,” Gibson says. “Right before sunset. For once, the sky and the clouds matched the mural.”
