Gary Soloman, Secretary of the Central Avenue Special Improvement District and Owner of Hauptman Floor and Window Covering Co. (307 Central Ave), shared, “Our collaboration with the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs allows us to continuously enrich our vibrant outdoor gallery. If you’re an aspiring artist looking to make a splash on Central Avenue, don’t be shy. We’re always excited to collaborate with talented artists to bring fresh, creative visions to life. Creative art makes our main street community even more vibrant.”

Central Avenue takes great pride in its vibrant outdoor art gallery adorning the bustling shopping corridor. The New Jersey Advance Media has claimed in the past that Central Avenue is the  most eye-popping one mile walk in Jersey City. Central Avenue continues its tradition of art installation for the thirteenth consecutive year. With more than 20 murals gracing the district, eclectic artwork enriches the daily experience of thousands of residents, shoppers, visitors, and area workers.
