Please be advised that beginning on or about Monday, August 13th, intersection work will commence at the bottom of Mountain Road, at the corner of Franklin Street and Paterson Plank Road.
This work will take approximately 6-8 weeks, and is expected to be complete on or about September 24th.
The intersection will be OPEN TO PEDESTRIANS AND BICYCLES AT ALL TIMES BUT WILL BE CLOSED TO AUTOMOBILES. As a result, there will be no automobile access on Mountain Road. Automobiles can use Congress Street to the north, and Ravine Road/New York Avenue to the south.
For 2-3 days at the very end of the project, the intersection will be completely closed for black top paving.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience.
